Absolutely gourmet. Surprised by a breakfast 'appetizer', which was just a teaser for what followed. Enjoyed a nice conversation with fellow travelers on the wrap-around porch. Borrowed a tandem bike. Host prepared us appropriately (his dry humor was a bonus) and we thoroughly enjoyed our ride to the beach, where we also checked out a restaurant and ultimately dined.

Welcoming, comfortable, friendly, spacious, impeccably maintained and spotless. Wraparound porch with seating and the common area is very nice for just hanging out and reading. Ann and Mike are gracious hosts. Breakfast was very special and all homemade. Thank you Our room was a quiet retreat. And the area is close to restaurants and bars. Beach is a short 2 minute drive with plenty of parking available. We read previous reviews and saw very high reviews. We were lucky to get a reservation on our special weekend. Next time we will book early.

Flying in to Newark, taking the train to Belmar, and then walking the quaint neighborhood to the Inn was easy. We're already missing our delicious breakfast, the fun bikes and inviting front porch-Cord & Dedra's creative hospitality kept us smiling throughout our stay. Free beach badges was a great bonus!!!

Our first stay was back in 2021 (see review "Wonderful getaway during COVID pandemic!!") and we enjoyed two other stays that year. It was so nice to spend another weekend at Mike and Anne Marie's place, especially after continuing to work from home the last couple of years. The breakfast that was served in the dining area was excellent, with "appetizers" of freshly baked scones or muffins, along with fresh fruit and/or yogurt and granola, followed by a hot main course that was a meal in itself!! We enjoyed walking it off by visiting some of the nearby shops along Main Street.

This place is extremely clean. The house is tastefully decorated the breakfast is very nice (I wanted the recipe for the baked French toast) and the hosts are very welcoming.

The best thing about staying at this location were the owners. They were very warm and accommodating, and the facility was spotless. The breakfast was very gourmet.

Breakfast was excellent: great food enjoyed on the porch. We found especially charming the owners’ grandkids who helped out in serving. We also loved the use of bikes, which were included in the stay. We did not take advantage of other included features, such as beach tags, towels, etc. The owners were friendly and helpful.

We truly love being at the Tandem Bike inn. This is our third stay since May and we plan to visit Dedra and Cord again before for end of the year. We recommend the Tandem Bike inn to all of our friends and family.

I wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Belmar. The Inn is beautiful and clean and the bed is very comfortable. The whole vibe is homey and relaxed, which creates a friendly rapport between guests. The owners are passionate about good hospitality. They provide access to the beach, bikes, chairs, everything to make your stay a good one. And the cooking? Absolutely delish. The blueberry pancakes were chock full of fresh blueberries. There are so many extra touches here that define why staying at an inn, particularly this inn, far surpasses any hotel and sets this style of hospitality apart from any other.
